Welcome message

A friendly scientific gathering at the roof of the world.

Once again we are proud to invite you, continuing our tradition of Chronic Hypoxia Symposiums.

La Paz is the World Capital of Hypoxia and the shrine of hypoxia scientists. Conferences take place across distinctive altitude locations so attendees can experience life at high altitude and discover new perspectives on chronic hypoxia. Disciplines apparently unrelated to hypoxia routinely find outstanding stimulus and innovative concepts in these unique environments.

This edition joins forces with the 2nd High-Altitude Space Physiology Symposia chaired by Alan Hargens — bridging the science of mountains and the science of microgravity.
